The opportunity
You will lead our BA in Film & Television, delivering a high-quality student experience and strong levels of industry and academic engagement. Under the direction of the Programme Director you will be responsible for teaching, assessment, academic and pastoral support and administrative duties. You will provide the academic leadership and management of the Course, including the maintenance and enhancement of standards and responsibility for the design, development and delivery of the curriculum. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Course including all areas of learning, teaching and assessment of students as well as resources allocated.
About you
You will be a leading expert in the field of Film & Television and will bring practical experience and academic authority to the role. Experience in a relevant field is essential, as is teaching experience. Experience of a television studio environment is highly desirable. You will have the expertise, enthusiasm and communication skills to inspire our diverse cohort of students as well as the professional authority to champion the field of film & television in the university and beyond. You will have a current and innovative research profile. A postgraduate qualification is highly desirable as is a teaching qualification.
