The opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Seniot IT desktop support analyst (known at the University as IT Support Services) to join our IT Services Division.
With a can do attitude, you'll play a vital role in supporting users both remotely and desk-side, with most of your work being escalated from our IT Service Desk. You'll support both staff and student computers providing a quick response to standard day-to-day issues and requests for hardware and software, as well as engaging with project work such as our desktop replacement programme. In addition you will be responsible as the first point of escallation for the IT Support Analysts.
Though you'll be be based at our Elephant & Castle campus, occasional travel to other UAL sites may be required.
About you
You'll hold a professional IT qualification or technical degree and previous experience in an IT support role. Having good verbal and written communication skills, time management skills and an analytical approach to problem solving is essential. You'll be experienced in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers and software on both Macs and PCs in an enterprise environment. Experience of Novell Zenworks and JAMF Casper Suite is advantagous. You'll also need skills in technologies such as MS Office 365, Email Client (Exchange), Windows 7/10, Mac OSX 10.12/10.14, Active Directory and networking.
