About MA Design for Industry 5.0 (MADI 5)
At the forefront of new industry, this course centres people and planet in the future of design, technology and manufacturing. Industry 5.0 is a future in which the traditional drivers of efficiency and productivity give way to the ethics of care and human-centred design, while respecting environmental circularity and planetary production limitations. MA Design for Industry 5.0 foregrounds people and planet to explore the entrepreneurial opportunity presented by the fourth industrial revolution. The course goes beyond designing functional objects to innovating object ecosystems, exploring their entrepreneurial and regenerative potential.
