At University of the Arts London (UAL), we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive. Your work will make a real difference to student experience, helping to create inclusive, compassionate and engaging learning environments. You will collaborate closely with course leaders, student services, academic support and the Arts Students’ Union to champion student wellbeing, retention and success.

If you are passionate about helping students reach their full potential and want to make an impact across a vibrant creative community, we would love to hear from you.
As part of your application during the pre-screening form, you will be asked to select between 1 to 4 Colleges you would like to be considered for.
About you

You will have experience working in a pastoral, wellbeing or engagement capacity, supporting students through individual and group interventions.
You will be skilled in building trusted relationships with students and colleagues across multiple teams, and demonstrate empathy, cultural awareness and discretion when supporting diverse student communities. Your communication will be clear, inclusive and compassionate across all channels, and you will be comfortable managing sensitive situations with care and professionalism.
The role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work independently while collaborating across teams. You will approach challenges with creativity, flexibility and resilience, maintaining focus even in fast-paced or complex situations.
Above all, you will share UAL’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and a belief in the transformative power of education.
