The opportunity
Are you a HR professional ready to take the next step in a role that offers variety, responsibility and scope to grow? At University of the Arts London, we are seeking a Junior HR Consultant to join our People and Culture team and help deliver our service across one of the world’s most renowned creative universities.
As a Junior HR Consultant, you will provide high-quality, professional and customer-focused HR advice and guidance across a broad range of employee relations and people-related matters. You’ll support casework, change initiatives and policy development, while helping managers apply best practice in fair and practical ways. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement, challenge existing processes, and promote UAL’s values of equality, diversity and inclusion.
About you

Ideally, you will also have experience of working with trade unions and HR information systems.
You will be CIPD qualified (or have equivalent relevant experience) and have a sound understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Skilled in building relationships and working collaboratively, you will be an excellent communicator and problem-solver, confident in supporting managers to make fair and well-reasoned decisions.
This role is well suited to a HR professional who has established their foundation and is now ready to build on it in a supportive and forward-thinking team.
