The opportunity

We are looking for a strategic partnerships manager to take responsibility for the management, implementation and promotion of a dynamic, high quality, partnership relations and commercial sponsorship strategy for the College. Developing and delivering sponsorship and commercial revenue streams as part of the Business and Innovation team, you will have a strong focus on generating new business and new partnerships  

About you

You are able to manage and negotiate with multiple stakeholders and have an advanced understanding of relationship building in a commercial and/or sponsorship context, preferably within the HE, creative or charitable sectors. The role encompasses a broad approach to existing and particularly new models of income generating partnerships. You are motivated to work as part of a team and have the ability to seek out opportunities with partners to proactively build new partnerships, effectively adapting your communication style to different audiences both internal and external to reach ambitious targets

You will be very focused on developing new  partnerships, working with the Director of Business and Innovation in the continuous development of the strategic developmental plan  for the College.  Maximizing the value and number of  projects and defined partnership, and devising new models of income generating partnerships. Working with colleagues to raise the profile and to promote the offer of the College with prospective external organizations, including industry partners, third sector and government funders.

Knowledge of the arts and design and communication as discipline areas is desirable.
