The opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to appoint to the role of Marketing and Communications Manager.

As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will manage all of our branding and communications at UAL Short Courses.  UAL Short Courses deliver specialist creative industry courses directly to the public, so you need to be comfortable in a customer focussed environment.

You will develop and deliver an effective marketing and communications programme to drive sales and income generation activities for the UAL Short Courses business, which delivers over 1,800 courses to over 16,500 customers each year.

You will support your team to deliver exceptional content across all owned channels, build strong branding and customer acquisition campaigns, strengthen SEO across UAL Short Courses webpages, and ensure all sales activity is optimised and trackable.

You will be responsible for a specific brand and product portfolio and will lead on specified marketing and sales channels and/or projects across the business.

About you

You will have significant marketing and communications experience, ideally with an e-commerce focus. You will need a track record in delivering engaging and compelling marketing campaigns across all forms of media, with the user experience and journey always at the forefront of your mind.

You will have a thorough understanding of current digital media, marketing channels, and tracking technologies, and an ability to innovate in the creation of multi-channel performance marketing campaigns. You will have the ability to plan and prioritise your workload effectively to achieve short and long-term objectives.

In return, UAL Short Courses offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.

If you have any queries about this role or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Twinkle Brahmbhatt, Senior Resourcing Adviser via email at RKEEstaffrecruitment@arts.ac.uk or 020 7514 2965.
