The opportunity

In this role, you will act as the Language Centre authority on English language assessment and testing, working with Language Centre students and staff as well as wider UAL staff, including those processing offers to students from overseas.

You will run English language tests and assessments for the Language Centre and University and ensure appropriate training and test information is available to relevant parties.

In addition, you will teach on the Language Centre’s EFL and EAP programmes

About you

You are an experienced and well-qualified ELT professional with significant teaching experience in ELT, EAP and/or ESP.

You have in-depth knowledge of English language testing, assessment and qualifications, and teacher-training experience related to assessment and standardisation. You have the ability to set up and manage a testing or assessment team to run large scale tests, and co-ordinate marking and results production. You have excellent communication, collaboration, organisational and data analysis skills to support that work.
