The opportunity

To research, develop, manage and deliver employability and careers focussed programmes and projects  as part of Careers and Employability (C&E) at UAL. Working in collaboration with Academic Support, UAL Outreach in order to support the employability and progression of UAL students from Widening Participation backgrounds including BAME and disabled students.

To work strategically, within and outside the curriculum, to support students in their career goals and aspirations, acting as a bridging role between C&E and students, academic staff, support staff and the creative and cultural industries, through projects, programmes, initiatives, opportunities, research and other support activity. 

To collaborate, partner and work with UAL staff, courses and departments, institutions, agencies, charities and the voluntary sector to support the aspirations and career goals of UAL students, nationally and internationally

About you

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of working in the creative and cultural sector, preferably in a higher education setting. 

You will have significant experience of devising, delivering and managing projects which support diversity and fair access in the creative and cultural industries.

You will have knowledge of the issues around employability and enterprise, with experience of establishing, managing and sustaining key strategic working relationships with charities and voluntary organizations and creative and cultural industry partners.
