The opportunity

University of the Arts London is seeking an experienced finance professional to play a key role in the operation and delivery of the Finance function at London College of Fashion (LCF).

Your role as Finance Manager will have particular focus on providing a comprehensive finance business partnering service to senior managers across LCF, as well as the continuous development of the annual budget setting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly monitoring control and reporting processes.

You will also support the LCF Head of Finance in ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently in providing a customer orientated, professional service to both internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves line management of three Finance team members.

About you

With an undergraduate degree in a relevant area and a recognised Accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA), or with significant relevant experience in the HE sector, the successful post holder will be an experienced finance professional with exceptional communication, report writing and analytical skills and a drive for continuous improvements.

Experience of building successful working relationships and preparing and presenting information to senior management is required, as you will be providing support and financial expertise to a number of departments and decision makers across the College.
