The opportunity

The post holder will work to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) to provide leadership in developing, delivering and evaluating the Academic Development Fund project, a key strand of UAL’s Academic Strategy. This project is a large scale intervention and investment to build the capacity and resilience of course teams and ensure the student experience, informed by research and the findings of our enhancement framework, the Academic Enhancement Model.

This is a senior role, requiring a high level of independent strategic work and a level of judgement based on considerable experience within an academic environment, which will underpin collaborative work with colleagues at the highest level of the University.

About you

You will have high level research and project management experience. You will be a recognised authority on the student experience and attainment/assessment within the creative arts, with widespread professional recognition within your institution and amongst external peers, based on demonstrated expertise. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the trends and issues in academic provision, particularly within the creative arts at both a national and international level.
