As Course Leader BA Illustration, you will assume responsibility for the academic leadership and management of a dynamic and internationally recognised course.  You will take overall responsibility for the design, development and delivery of this progressive and forward-facing course supported by a team of talented and dedicated colleagues.

The role requires that you oversee the day to day management of the course, including strategic development of all areas of learning, teaching and assessment.  You will also be responsible for resource allocation and the observation and implementation of the policies and procedures of the University and the College.

University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.

Camberwell College of Arts is a prestigious establishment with a track record of teaching and nurturing impressive talent. Much of its success is down to its dedicated employees, and you will play an important role in shaping future creative professionals, and impact on the future of so many creative industries.

A postgraduate qualification appropriate to the subject area of Illustration, experience of course administration, assessment processes and procedures are essential for the role.  To inspire students and staff alike, you must be a leading authority in your field and always up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry.  You will maintain strong links with design practitioners from a wide range of professions, subjects and disciplines and build collaborative links with a range of institutions and employers.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available.

Please contact Darryl Clifton, The Illustration Programme Director on if you would like to have a conversation about the role and the overall vision for the course within the context of the Design School and College.
