This is a unique role, the focus will be to act as University of the Arts London’s procurement category specialist for the Information and Communication Technology spend category (ICT) and to support the Indirects spend category on behalf of the university, its entities and other organisations for which the university provides a procurement service. You will ensure that procurement support is aligned to the structure, objectives and culture of the function, becoming an enabler to the ICT/Indirect stakeholder business plan, objectives and deliverables.

The King’s Cross site is an innovative building situated in a historic part of Central London with facilities designed around the creative needs of students, as well as to enable our teachers to deliver outstanding tuition. We are looking for a candidate either working towards or with a MCIPS qualification. A strategic insight, solid commercial acumen and understanding of commercial decision making processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders whilst delivering value for money solutions. Takes responsibility for the assigned categories, leads on procurement procedures and provides specialist advice to deliver appropriate procurement solutions.
