As a Senior Lecturer, you'll oversee the shared lecture programmes and research groups across BA and MA Fine Art courses, engaging in local, national and international partnerships to enhance and build a strong learning community. You'll work in close consultation with colleagues to lead on teaching and learning practices that include effective and dynamic use of digital platforms. The successful candidate will embed decolonised, ethical and inclusive values within the course and college experience and help shape Fine Art’s identity within and outside Camberwell College of Arts.

About you

You’ll hold a degree appropriate to the subject area of Fine Art.

To inspire students, you must be an authority in your field, with a strong track record of practice and/or theory in an area appropriate to fine art. You’ll maintain strong links with art and design institutions and practitioners and be able to demonstrate experience of building collaborative links with institutions and employers. You must be able to demonstrate up-to-date working knowledge of current practices and research within the field of fine art. You’ll have a passion for, and experience of, developing innovative and inclusive pedagogy.

We are looking for a clear and concise strong communicator with the ability to adapt your communication style to suit the audience. Advanced IT skills are essential. You’ll be a keen problem solver able to analyse routine data and produce accurate reports where necessary.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available.
