The opportunity
We require an experienced administrator to play a key role in the work of the Staffing Team at Central Saint Martins (CSM) by providing an excellent level of support to staff across the College.
You will work flexibly as a member of the team and be responsible for all aspects of recruitment, including administration of hourly paid contracts, assisting and advising managers with recruitment, selection and staff appointments. You will ensure that all pre-employment checks are completed on time including Right to Work and Disclosure and Barring Service checks. It’s a fast-paced people-focused role, that includes promoting and supporting the delivery of a range of staff development activities to meet the College strategy.
About you
Your significant administrative experience will be backed up by a relevant degree or equivalent relevant experience. You will have excellent accuracy and organisational skills and be an effective team player. Key to this role will be your first rate interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, and your ability to build excellent relationships.
You will be conversant in the use of databases, excel and data analysis, and the use of recruitment information systems is desirable. You will be able to create realistic plans to achieve your own deadlines and objectives and those of the department. You will be professional, with the capacity to work autonomously and possess the ability to prioritise when faced with a high volume of work.
