The opportunity

We are looking for a departmental administrator for Business and Innovation at LCC. We’re growing our activity, expanding to work with more students, graduates and partners. With many exciting development plans in the pipeline at LCC, Business and Innovation activity is one of the key components of our future growth for Knowledge Exchange at the college. Working in collaboration with colleagues in the Internal and External Relations team, Business and innovation leads on the coordination and support for local engagement and place-making activity within the College, delivering client projects involving students and the delivery of ACE -IT an ERDF funded project supporting the development of SME;s and projects in at the cutting edge of VR and immersive technologies.

This role is based within the Business & Innovation department and will provide a key support function for the delivery and reporting of Business and Innovation activity across the college. 

 

About you

You will be able to work independently and as a member of the Business and Innovation team, and will work closely with other key staff across LCC to help develop and sustain the success of Business and Innovation at LCC. Experience of leading on finance administration of specific projects, including arranging and reporting on payments to staff and suppliers, and arranging and reporting on payments from clients and reporting to funders and partners. You will have experience of assisting with the planning and implementation of activities, including supporting events and workshops for external funded projects and internal and external partners including external businesses.

Knowledge of the arts and design and communication as discipline areas is desirable.
