Information Centre Assistant Coordinator
Based in a busy reception and office environment, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries dealing with current, past and potential students and staff at the London College of Communication- a globally renowned provider of Design and Media education, research and consultancy. You will support the Information Centre manager in the provision of a fully functional reception service and provide effective supervision in their absence.
You will also assist with enquires by phone and by email, you will provide information and advice, solve problems when you can and escalate issues where appropriate. You will also take on a range of administrative responsibilities -from maintaining systems to issuing ID Cards as well as additional duties. In everything you do, you will demonstrate a commitment to a seamless and excellent customer service.
We are looking for applicants who are educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) who will bring to the role proven experience in a customer facing role. We expect you to be familiar with the use of databases and Microsoft Office applications, and demonstrate skills in data entry and the production of correspondence. Crucially, you are a collaborative, supportive and customer-focused individual, committed to clarity and responsiveness. You have strong communication skills both interpersonal and written.
