As Senior Lecturer on the MA Service Design you would be undertaking teaching, unit management, curriculum development and research within the subject specialism of Service Design.
You would be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of units within the curriculum, working with MA Service Design students on a very practice-based postgraduate curriculum.
You would be expected to contribute to the development of Service Design as a discipline within the Design School curriculum through research, professional practice and/or scholarly practice and engaging in the wider research and educational community of the Design School, the College and the University.
You would be expected to engage with the international service design research community as well as service design industry.
We are particularly interested in new and innovative research and practice directions for Service Design.
We are looking for a lecturer and researcher who can motivate and excite our diverse postgraduate students who come from a variety of professional backgrounds within and outside of design, and from all over the world.
With experience of working within the service design industry and/or research and teaching experience at postgraduate level, you would be able to deliver research-based teaching and practice-based teaching within live projects with multiple external partners.
You would be able to apply substantial knowledge and expertise in the area of service design, and new and experimental research and practice directions, in order to contribute to the academic and professional development of this area of expertise within the University.
