The opportunity
The Internal and External Relations department tells the story of the LCF brand, to engage both internal and external audiences. We are specialists in content creation and communication, engagement and community building, managing events and experiences, media relations and public affairs.
We are positive, enthusiastic and professional, always putting the student experience first, and showcasing their voice to display the best LCF has to offer. We use this peer influence approach to attract the best quality staff and students to join us.
About you
With excellent customer service and a proactive ‘team player’ approach, you will provide communications, events and administrative support to IER team. The role is a creative pair of eyes across the department, such as contributing ideas in team meetings, writing up and uploading articles for our internal and external web channels, or social media with help from the Content Officer.
You will be organised and good at administrative processes, such as filing press coverage, setting up and minuting meetings, helping with reports and basic financial admin, but you will also be proactive at going to meet students and staff for interviews, helping to spread the word about campaigns or events across LCF sites (and digitally), and building good relationships with departments. The role is very varied and needs an all-rounder, but has an exciting range of work for a close-knit and supportive team.
In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, a final salary pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.
