The opportunity

Centre for Sustainable Fashion (CSF) seeks a highly skilled Knowledge Exchange Manager. 

This is a key role in building the profile of the centre as a leader in Fashion and Sustainability, through high quality knowledge exchange projects. As the Knowledge Exchange Manager, you will lead on developing and managing a suite of customer-facing activities and partnerships between CSF and partners in the fashion industry, including small and large brands and businesses, media, umbrella organisations and other organisations.

You will take operational responsibility for the delivery, management and promotion of CSF’s knowledge exchange programme, including:

  • Developing, managing and co-ordinating projects, including consultancy and contract research, as well as monitoring staff, budgets and plans, taking swift action to ensure they stay on track;
  • Preparing market and sustainability intelligence information to support Senior Management planning, academic and knowledge exchange related development and external partnership and income generating strategies;
  • Identifying development areas with Senior Management to promote collaborative working across the fashion sector (and CSF, London College of Fashion, the University.
  • Developing and maintaining projects, policies and strategies in support of CSF Strategic Plan

About you

You will have significant project and/or programme management experience, combined with a demonstrable knowledge of Fashion and Sustainability, ideally gained through industry experience. You will have strong leadership skills demonstrated by your ability to manage and nurture a team, as well as your ability to communicate efficiently to manage projects and partnerships competently.

A relevant professional Programme/Project Management qualification, e.g. APM Practitioner Qualification, Agile PM, MSP Practitioner or equivalent experience is desirable.
