The opportunity

Based in the Short Courses office at Central Saint Martins in Kings Cross, you will be the primary point of contact for students requiring short course information and advice via telephone, email, IM Chat and in person. This role is also a key sales role, actively converting enquiries to bookings and supporting students effected by course cancellations into transfers to assist the CSM short course unit to meet its financial targets and support the wider student experience.


To join us, you will need a proven track record of working in a front facing customer service role and ensuring that customer communications are handled in a timely manner according to terms and conditions. You will have experience working within a team and a genuine commitment to providing exemplary customer service.
 
Reporting to the Customer Service Team Coordinator; you will be responsible for working as a part of your team for effective customer enquiry response, supporting course starts and continually facilitating an excellent customer experience.  You will also engage with colleagues in other Academic Enterprise short course teams and across the college.

About you


You will have a strong background in customer service and the skills that will ensure that customer enquiries are handled in a timely manner in order to facilitate course bookings and answering customer queries. You will also support the team with course starts throughout the year.

With excellent oral and written communication skills, you will be able to liaise effectively with your team and colleagues, and also to build and maintain positive relationships while sharing best practice with colleagues in other short course teams and throughout UAL.

In additional, you should have an interest in further education in Art & Design subjects and more broadly the Creative Industries.
