In this key role, you will be part of a team teaching Cultural and Historical Studies approaches to fashion. As well as providing both academic and pastoral support to students, also be expected to coordinate the Cultural and Historical Studies dissertation units across the School of Media and Communication, and to make a significant contribution to research and scholarly activity in the field of Cultural and Historical approaches to fashion.
There will also be the opportunity to continue your research on the subject and contribute to a fast-paced and forward-thinking team.

With a relevant degree and postgraduate qualification (or equivalent), you will be a talented teacher who has experience teaching Fashion-related Cultural Studies at the Higher Education and level. You will have a teaching training qualification, plus experience covering unit management. You will also be comfortable liaising with external examiners and working as part of a team; sharing your knowledge and expertise. Crucially, you combine these talents with
a strong research profile. You will be expected to continue your research, while inspiring our students and supporting our links with industry and professional practice.
