The opportunity

We are looking to recruit an experienced Brand Manager to join our friendly and creative team. 

You will be a brand marketer with significant experience of managing and developing brand identities and the ability to drive effective change throughout a large and complex organisation. You will support the development of the UAL brand and its relationship to UAL Colleges, departments and sub-brands within a flexible, coherent and consistent framework. You will play a key role in delivering the brand strategy by supporting colleagues to use the brand effectively across all UAL marketing and communication channels. 


 

About you

You will be an organised, enthusiastic and a hard-working manager who has had previous experience in a similar brand role. 

  • Educated to degree level or above 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing brand identity systems within complex stakeholder organisations
  • Experience of managing and delivering key projects in support of brand marketing and communication strategies 
  • Experience of managing relationships with external design agencies, creative directors and other related suppliers
  • Experience of managing budgets and assessing return on investment in relation to brand marketing activity
  • Experience of managing large-scale projects effectively in a complex organisation
  • You communicate effectively orally and in writing, adapting messages for a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way.
  • You motivate and lead a team effectively, setting clear objectives to manage performance.
  • You plan, prioritise and manage resources effectively to achieve objectives.
  • You suggest practical solutions to new or unique problems.
  • Experience of marketing and branding within a higher education context is desirable but not essential.
