The opportunity
Working as part of the Building Operations and Events team you will be responsible for managing all of the day to day operations of the bar and driving the business forward, looking for new ways to engage the CSM community. You will have a passion for excellent customer service and as part of your remit be responsible for all front of house staff and the reception team. You will be passionate about people, training and teamwork.
About you
You will have experience working in hospitality at a supervisory level and a track record of working in a customer facing environment with a good understanding and knowledge of visitor experience and events. You will hold a personal license and have an IOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety experience relating to hospitality.
You will also have a track record in bar management and staff supervision, including handling cash and managing finances in a bar environment. You will have good customer service experience in the cultural sector and be able to manage and motivate a diverse team of staff.
You will be a good communicator and able to work collaboratively with the Building Operations and Events Team and build relationships with the wide range of people across the College.
