The opportunity

The Presessional Programme at UAL Language Centre attracts around 700 students a year. Most courses take place in the summer but with extensions at other times of the year. Courses help students reach the required level of English for their University of the Arts London foundation and degree studies.

The Administrator Presessional & EPIC Admissions will support the Presessional and EPIC Admissions Manager in the day to day administration of the programme.

Duties will include enquiry handling and communications, giving guidance on UKVI documentation, data entry, record-keeping and ensuring records are accurate and up to date. You will be a member of the Language Centre student support team and will report to the Presessional and EPIC Admissions Manager. You will be required to liaise and work closely with other UAL departments as part of your role, including International and Home/EU Admissions teams and Student Marketing and Recruitment.

About you

You will have experience of working with international students in higher or further education, preferably in an Admissions capacity with experience of advising students regarding UKVI information. You are a good communicator and team player and are committed to building and maintaining positive relationships with students, clients and other stakeholders.

You have strong IT skills and are able to plan and prioritise your work to meet objectives on time. You are able to use your initiative or creativity to resolve problems.

At UAL, everyone's identity matters. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all our diverse students, staff, and the creative and cultural sector partners with whom we engage. We aim to take every opportunity to progress equality and diversity, and celebrate the enrichment this brings to our community.
