The opportunity

The Research Office Administrator will provide administrative support for the LCC Research Office, with specific support for the Associate Dean of Research / Director of the LCC Graduate School. You will work closely with the Research Office Coordinator to support research office processes and procedures.

You will enjoy working with people and be a skilled communicator as you’ll be part of a team working closely with academics and researchers as well as postgraduate students.

A positive attitude is essential in providing full administrative and project support as you will be performing a range of tasks including diary management, arranging and clerking meetings, preparing reports and event co-ordination as well as providing project support for a variety of stakeholders.

About you

We are looking for someone who is well organised, enthusiastic and has excellent prioritising skills.  You will also be able to work to deadlines and work well under pressure. You will be a highly effective communicator, appropriately balancing tact and diplomacy with the need for quick turnarounds. You will be a problem solver with the confidence and perception of when to use your initiative. You will have excellent IT skills across Word and Excel, which you can use to produce correspondence and reports including for senior level audiences.
