The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technical team supporting students in the creative arts.

You will provide assistance, support and advice with a range of animation and visual effects software and specialist technical equipment in the new Creative Technology Lab and Motion Graphics technical areas at London College of Communication.

You will work with a diverse range of students from across the college, including those from BA Animation, MA Animation, MA 3D Computer Animation, MA Visual Effects and MA Virtual Reality.

Drawing upon your knowledge and experience, you will support and facilitate student learning, helping them to develop a broad range of increasingly essential technical skills.

About you

You will have a relevant qualification, plus knowledge and experience of animation or 3D modelling processes and techniques. You will work alongside technicians and academics within the college to ensure students are trained in the safe, innovative and professional use of the college’s technical resources. You will be a be a creative and motivated individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team.
