Partnerships Manager (maternity cover)

The opportunity

We are looking for a pro-active individual who will take responsibility for developing and advancing a portfolio of existing and prospective corporate supporters and key UAL stakeholders.  You will also paly a key part in securing philanthropic donations, sponsorships and other financial and in-kind support.

The role requires a high degree of experience in proposal development, new business pitches and contract negotiations.  It will also require cultivation and stewardship skills to maximise relationships with companies and leading figures in the creative industries to help expand networks, secure annual renewals and help generate new support.

It is essential that you have a proven track record in donor engagement.  You will need to exhibit strong interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to work with prestigious donors, senior staff and colleagues at all levels of the organisation.  Experience of events management, strong communication and written skills are also desirable. 

About you

You will have knowledge of corporate fundraising and Higher Education fundraising activities along with a sound understanding of engagement opportunities in order to maximise partnerships.  You will have a proven track record of creating partnerships and relationships and nurturing these to deliver financial and in-kind support. You will have responsibility for developing a stewardship programme to engage and advance existing supporters. This includes managing events and meetings to ensure donors are kept engaged and new contacts are generated.
