The opportunity
Based at the Foundation Centre, Wilson Road, Camberwell, SE5 8LU.
As Specialist Option Leader Textile Craft, you will provide team leadership for the Textile Craft area in the Design Pathway of the Foundation Diploma.
Along with teaching, as Specialist Option Leader, you will take overall responsibility for the management of the area, including accurate timetabling, resources, the student experience, promotion of the subject and effective communication within the staff team and between staff and students.
In this role, you will promote the subject to foster and develop progression opportunities between Further Education and Undergraduate courses within Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges and University of the Arts London.
About you
You will be a leading authority in your area with the ability to lead on the technical or professional development of the subject within the University. With the ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way, you will be a strong leader who motivates and leads effectively, setting clear objectives and developing learning and assessment practice.
