The opportunity

As a member of the Digital Team within the Department of Communication and External Affairs, you will provide excellent administrative support as well as work on digital projects.

You will be creating and editing copy, answering digital content related queries and be responsible for the smooth running of Web Support, our virtual customer helpdesk.

In addition, you will contribute to various projects that are part of the Online Estates Services Programme, which is the University’s digital transformation programme.

About you

You will have experience working in a busy a digital team and have some experience of managing digital content and writing for the web. You will have excellent administration and orginisational skills that enable teams to function and deliver.

Being able to work to deadlines and organising your time effectively and efficiently will be key. You will have the ability to liaise with stakeholders, understand and explain specialist terms as well as be comfortable being the go-to person for internal customer queries. You will also have experience of meeting administration and writing minutes.

You will need appropriate levels of IT skills, such as MS Office and Email as well as working on Mac and Windows. Previous use of content management systems is essential. Use of MailChimp is desirable as is experience of working in an agile environment.
