The UAL Creative Computing Institute is looking for an Innovation Lead to support the Knowledge Exchange strategy across a range of objectives, including firmly establishing CCI as a centre of excellence for Knowledge Exchange in creative technologies. You will deepen CCI’s connections with external partners and broker and support partnerships between industry, local community, CCI and other UAL colleges that enable knowledge exchange, create social impact and generate revenue.

You will also provide comprehensive project management support to academic staff across a portfolio of research, innovation, and knowledge exchange projects – ensuring that all projects are delivered to a high standard and in compliance with funder regulations and University policies, as well as maximising the value of these projects to the University – in terms of research outcomes, outputs, dissemination, impact and follow-on activities.

The UAL Creative Computing Institute at the University of the Arts London supports interdisciplinary teaching, research and knowledge exchange at the intersection of creativity and computational technologies. The institute aims to work across domains such as machine learning and artificial intelligence and explores how the contemporary world is being defined through human computer interaction and social platforms.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in managing research and innovation projects (including financial/budget management) as well as experience of knowledge transfer processes in an HE environment. A relevant undergraduate degree of higher will support your experience along with a project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2). Equally important will be your strong communication skills and your ability work collaboratively with different professional groups.
