The opportunity

Building on London College of Communication’s reputation for photography education, this post is an opportunity for a forward-thinking practitioner and educator in photography to join the BA Photography team. The BA Photography course at LCC has a long-established and world-leading role in the education of photographers. 

The successful candidate will be someone who can support the teaching of photography as an expanded practice, is theoretically informed and who is able to utilise their cultural networks to benefit students and the wider teaching, research and knowledge exchange cultures of photography at LCC.

As a full-time member of the teaching staff you will be a core addition to the BA Photography team, contributing as a year leader on the course, centrally involved in course design and helping to develop the direction of photography at LCC.  

About you

We are looking for a candidate with relevant teaching experience, undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in photography and visual art and/or equivalent Industry experience.

The successful candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team as well as be an innovative teacher.

Candidates should demonstrate subject knowledge as well as skills relevant to subject development within an academic, research and professional context.
