London College of Fashion are seeking a motivational Head of Careers to manage and promote the careers service and play a key role in policy development and building links across the University and leading fashion brands and other external organisations.

Our Careers Team offers students and graduates the opportunity to attend careers events, be involved in mentoring schemes and helps them in finding an internship or job that is right for them. We partner with leading organisations in the UK and internationally.

In this key role, in addition to the day-to-day line management of the Careers Team, you will work with the Director of Internal and External Relations to raise the profile of the service and shape the wider strategic direction of the University’s Employability/Enterprise strategy.

Educated to degree level, you will have a background in the arts or a cultural organisation, and will have experience of careers and employability and managing teams.

The ability to motivate and set clear measurable objectives is essential as is strong communication and planning skills. Above all you must be passionate about providing a high level of customer service to enhance the student experience.
