The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work at London College of Fashion, with the Associate Dean of Research to advance the implementation of research support and culture throughout the college and specifically assist in development of strategies to support REF, impact analysis, maximise on funding and collaborative partnership opportunities.  You will work with LCF Researchers, Deans of Schools, PG Research Students and the wider college community to ensure the full integration of research activities. Your work will also involve reporting on research activities, monitoring budgets, line management and supporting communication of research activities.

About you

You will have considerable experience from working in similar roles and at the highest academic level, managing long term research monitoring strategies.  This experience should cover engagement with the Research Excellence Framework, working across teams and project management, income generation and familiarity with UK and EU research council objectives. 

In addition the role will support development of new operations in relation to the LCF campus move to Stratford in 2023 and related partnership initiatives with UCL, V&A, Sadlers Wells.

You will have a relevant degree (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification too. All of this you will balance with strong commercial aptitude which includes great organisational,  budgetry, communication, and IT skills.
