The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a 3D/Art and Design qualified specialist with performance industry experience to play a key role supporting teaching and learning in the specialist area of 3D effects for Performance and Fashion.

The role is based at Lime Grove studios, which is part of the London College of Fashion and provides a variety of make-up, prosthetics and photography facilities and specialist 3D studios and workshops. With your professional expertise, you will provide guidance, advice and contribute to the delivery of teaching and learning and academic activities within the College, as well as contribute to the planning and development of the 3D for Performance programme.

You will provide support to students through informal and formal training and instruction, helping them to develop proficiency with highly specialist techniques, production methods and technology. You will also provide feedback to students on their learning, as well as Course Leaders, Technical Coordinators and Technical Managers, regarding service levels and student requirements.

About you

With a degree or an equivalent qualification/experience in Art and Design, you will be a motivated, creative individual with high levels of technical competence and a dedication to technological development. With good communication skills, you will be able to contribute critical input to student concept and expressive/creative intention, including giving feedback to students and helping with student formative assessments, with reference to appropriate learning outcomes of the course or project.
