The opportunity

The Fashion & Technology – Emerging Futures (FTEF) project is a £5.3 million initiative sponsored by London College of Fashion in partnership with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project is delivered through the CFE, and delivers business support to Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the fashion and fashion tech sector.  It capitalises on the new fashion + tech eco-system emerging in London to drive growth through greater cross sector collaboration and to develop innovative products and services.

Building on LCF’s pioneering work in fashion tech you will support the Fashion Tech Project Officer to design and coordinate the activities and events that underpin the support for fashion tech businesses within the project. Through helping coordinate inspiring meet-ups and dynamic networking events, you will assist in connecting emerging businesses with fashion tech experts and investors. You will help the officer manage the fashion tech incubator space within the CFE to build a strong community of fashion, tech and digital companies and SME’s.

About you

You will have a First degree in a relevant subject and will have gained your knowledge of fashion tech developments and innovations through your experience of working in the creative or tech sector. You will be aware of the issues and support need for tech / fashion tech start-up companies and SMEs and be passionate about the contribution you can make to help grow their businesses. You will be highly organized, with project and events support experience, and an aspiring networker and communicator who thrives on connecting people.
