The opportunity

This newly formed Head of HR Operations post offers an exciting opportunity for a proven HR Operations professional to lead and shape the provision of an excellent HR operational service and develop a ‘one team’ approach to HR operations at a world leading university.

As the Head of HR Operations, your core remit will be to lead, manage, co-ordinate and support the efficient delivery of HR operational services, ensuring high standards of customer care and employee relations, to all staff at the University.

Leading and managing your team, you will have a wide ranging remit including employee relations, safeguarding, resourcing, reviewing HR business processes, monitoring and developing the use of operational KPIs / metrics and reports, and providing expert advice on all HR operational matters.

About you

Likely to be CIPD qualified, you will offer substantial and proven experience of leading, building and developing a consistently high performing successful HR operational and HR administration team(s) across a complex, multi-site organisation. You’ll possess in-depth knowledge of all aspects of HR operations and best practice, including electronic document management systems, service centre telephony and systems, employee relations, statutory HR requirements (DBS, UKVI etc.) and a working knowledge of customer service excellence frameworks.
