The opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to teach and contribute to the development of our unique Post Graduate course in this expanding curriculum area for the College. The successful candidate will be providing cover and support whilst the permanent Course Leader is on leave.    

You will also be responsible for making a substantial contribution to teaching quantitative research methods at post graduate level and some aspects of cognitive psychology.You will be research active and will contribute to cross-College research initiatives concerned with understanding the psychological phenomena across the realm of fashion.   Your own areas of expertise will be in one or more of the following: organisational psychology, social cognition, lifespan development, self-identity and well-being, quantitative research methods.

About you

You are an expert in your field with a PhD in a domain of Psychology related to the above expertise areas and a successful research profile. You will have taught Psychology on a BPS accredited programme (or an international equivalent), ideally at Post Graduate level. You will possess a teacher training qualification and demonstrable ability to encourage, support and sustain the development and flourishing of students.
