The opportunity

You will ensure the effective and efficient administration of all student tuition fees due to the College and to ensure all income due to the College is identified and recorded promptly and accurately.  You will oversee the ongoing reconciliation of student accounts, to ensure that they are a complete and accurate record of transactions and that all income is correctly allocated and debts are minimised.  You will act as a first point of contact for all fee-related and online payments enquiries and provide a high level of customer service to students and colleagues across the University, ensuring the University is both transparent and accountable in the way it deals with its customers. You will identify ways in which our systems can remain dynamic and continue to be fit for purpose and will assist with the development of procedures and technology to manage these activities.   

About you

You will have knowledge of reconciling complex financial records and resolving fees and funding issues, and of debtors management and credit control within an HE environment. You will have experience of using a finance management information system, and students record system. You will possess excellent written and oral communication skills and a enjoy a busy collaborative work environment. A qualification in the area of credit control is desirable. You will have relevant experience in the financial management of various income streams, and will work independently without direct supervision.
