The opportunity

London College of Fashion is seeking an experienced and organised administrator to provide a research and customer-focused support service at the Centre for Fashion Curation.

In this busy and varied role, you will work flexibly as a member of the team, providing support to the Research Professors/Centre Directors by using your excellent admin skills to assist in the development of their research work and providing organisational support with their teaching commitments and projects such as exhibitions and book publications.

Your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to creating and maintaining databases and information systems, project research and reports, and information material and assisting with the preparation of internal and external events in relation to the Professors’ work.

About you

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience in an administrative role supporting academics and in particular, research interests. Significant demonstrable experience of creating and updating information, databases and spreadsheets and working with budgets and producing analytical reports is also essential.

You will need to be an excellent communicator, comfortable liaising with high-level industry contacts, national and international partners and be confident in organising internal and external facing events, meetings and travel arrangements and supporting the needs of multiple stakeholders.
