The opportunity

Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of a unit or part of a unit. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of learning and support our students receive in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully.

You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Programme Director and Course Leader.

About you

You will be an experienced practitioner who works in Art Direction and its associated fields (graphic design for print and screen, branding, games, short form moving image, set design, or photography for example).

 

You will be keen to support diverse learners, helping them to develop their creative practice and demystify skills-based learning.

You should be able to deliver technical software instruction (adobe cc, maxon) and kit that provides hands on practical guidance, as well as develop sessions that draw on critical and conceptual ideas and frameworks.

Ideally, you will have experience teaching at undergraduate level, and be able to contribute to assessment and curriculum development and planning. You will be committed to fostering equality and contributing to anti-racist teaching practices.
