The opportunity

You will be developing International Students over 1 year so that they have a broad knowledge of the Fashion Industry and are able to make an informed decision about their further undergraduate pathway choices and future career development.  You will prepare students for entry to the college’s specialist Design and Media Undergraduate Degrees, liaising with Pathway Leaders on the International Introduction to the study of Fashion (Level 3).

You will be expected to work with the other disciplines found on International Introduction to the Study of Fashion (Level 3).  A majority of students will need to develop their academic language skills in order to progress to an undergraduate course so experience of working with non- native speakers is important. You will contribute and support curriculum development for both the Design and Media  pathway's and contribute to the overall  International  Introduction to the Study of Fashion curriculum.

If you have any queries about this role, you may contact the LCF Staffing Team at vacancies@fashion.arts.ac.uk

About you

You will have a Fashion Design/Media creative background with an understanding of the Fashion Design and Media Process. You will have experience of Learning and Teaching in an FE preparatory environment.

You will be highly organised and able to manage a large cohort of students efficiently.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, a final salary pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available.
