The opportunity

As an Application Support Analyst you will provide specialist support within the Business Services team, developing and maintaining supported services within an ITIL environment. You will also liaise with other technical teams within IT Services and external suppliers where required. You will perform requirement analysis for change initiatives, contribute to relevant project work and ensure release processes and procedures are maintained, enabling smooth transition into operations.

You will be supporting a wide range of enterprise and bespoke applications and related technologies including Windows, Unix, Linux, IIS, .Net, Powershell, Oracle and SQL server. You will be passionate about technology with the drive to develop your expertise within a growing organisation

About you

Strong experience of supporting and maintaining enterprise and bespoke applications is essential for this position

  • Experience of managing customer relationships and 3rd party suppliers is required
  • A good understanding of ITIL service management processes and experience of using a service management tool is advantageous
  • Experience of System Monitoring/Windows Server/operating systems and Active Directory are all essential
  • Any experience of PowerShell Scripting, Web /Internet technologies(IIS/.Net),VMware,Databases and networking would be advantageous

 Communication

  • You will be a self-motivated and dynamic individual who is able to be adaptable and flexible
  • Effective oral and written communication skills ,with a logical and sensible approach to tasks
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels, including the ability to problem solve
