The opportunity

This role will provide all-round administrative support to the Products, Services and Projects team, Deputy Director and other key colleagues.

They will support business development work, field-sales and customer care activities by booking travel, managing diaries, processing expenses and handling other administration generated by these activities.

The role will involve working with financial information such as invoices and other back-office functions, but also fielding enquiries from customers. The Administrative Assistant will organise the smooth running of key meetings, including organising catering, taking formal minutes and circulating information to attendees as required.

In addition the post will support events in person and contribute to specific areas of project work by checking content or undertaking desk research. They will also be required to work with our Learner Management System and other databases.

About you

The successful applicant will be able to communicate clearly with a wide range of colleagues and external contacts. They will combine attention to detail, timeliness and a consistent commitment to customer service.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible enough to cope with changing priorities in a complex and growing business. They will also need to be able to demonstrate competence dealing with both quantitative and qualitative information.

Evidence of administrative experience using MS Office and other software and tools are essential, as is a logical approach to balancing a varied workload. A knowledge of, or interest in, the creative education sector and creative arts would be advantageous.
