The opportunity

We are recruiting for 3 Digital Content Manager posts (1 permanent, a 12 month fixed term contract and a 6 month fixed term contract). A proven self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, you will use your considerable content experience to assist in delivering the university’s digital transformation programme.

You will be leading on the content work streams across multiple projects in the programme, acting as the content subject matter expert. You will be working with many teams across the organisation to deliver compelling content to improve our audiences’ digital experiences.

The permanent role will also manage 4 members of staff who make up the Content Team, (part of the Digital Team), leading on the content management of the website and intranet.

About you

You are a dynamic, enthusiastic and pragmatic Content Manager with extensive experience of designing, developing, managing, improving and governing the content in digital channels at a large complex organisation.You will have excellent communication skills. Exceedingly organised and efficient, you will be passionate about improving user experience across digital channels and delivering the right content to the right audiences.

You will be a team player and leader, possess excellent project management skills, have experience and confidence in liaising with stakeholders of all levels across an organisation and have a “can do” approach.

Your expertise will be invaluable in helping to transform our digital platforms so they are compelling for key user groups: prospective students, current students and staff, researchers, alumni and businesses.
