The opportunity
Building on the existing alliance between Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges, a new Strategy for 2017 – 2022 has been developed: Creating New Histories. As a result, the academic leadership across the three Colleges will be refocused into disciplines under academic subject groups (Art, Design, and Performance Arts), each of which will be led by a Dean, who will ensure that we have a coherent and co-ordinated academic offer across all Colleges that aligns with their individual visions.
About you
As a member of the Colleges’ Executive Team, you will be an exceptional strategic leader and practitioner in a relevant area of design, with a proven track record of managing academic staff and research. You will be acknowledged as a leading authority in your subject with credible academic subject expertise and widespread public or professional recognition. The new Dean will have the personal credibility to represent the Colleges and build beneficial external relationships and partnerships. A compelling and engaging communicator, you will be a successful motivator with the ability to collaborate in a complex environment to deliver the Colleges’ strategic vision.
