The opportunity

As part of the HR Business Support Hub, the Business Support Coordinator will provide excellent administrative and management support to our award-winning Human Resources department.  You will ensure that we maintain our customer service excellence award standards whilst delivering our HR service/objectives. The role will also have shared duties and responsibilities for general administrative support to the HR Department.  

About you

You are a talented and proactive administrator, good with people and numbers, and with extensive similar experience in complex organisations. You understand how to create a productive workplace for a large team, as well as how to support senior managers.

To succeed in this role you will pride yourself on delivering high quality and supportive customer service to multiple stakeholders across different professional levels. You will be able to manage multiple strands of work at any one time and be able to prioritise these frequently depending on customer and business needs.

You will be comfortable in delivering administrative support across different areas such as; information systems, project support, correspondence, data management, and HR administration.

The role is very much customer facing, so relationships building skills are crucial as well as an understanding of how a fast paced office environment operates.

An understanding of the role of Human Resources within a higher education environment would be an advantage as would a desire to work in creative education.
