The opportunity

We have a great opportunity for a motivated and skilled Organisational Development Consultant to join a diverse and forward thinking OD team, within our HR Culture hub, supporting the delivery of strategic people priorities. This is an exciting time to be joining UAL; we have a new University Strategy, and People Strategy. Inclusion, Social Purpose, Engagement are all core UAL priorities and the OD team will be focused on these areas to impact on staff and student experience.

As OD Consultant, you will work on a range of organisational development initiatives with a focus on developing forward looking HR policy, equipping managers with the skills and knowledge required for their role and to introduce new and diverse ways of enhancing employee experience and wellbeing.

You will support the consultation, review, development and communication of UAL employment policies, working collaboratively with internal and external partners and be responsible for providing guidance and knowledge to HR projects.

About you

With a proactive and collaborative approach, you will have experience in developing and implementing HR policy, guidance and wellbeing initiatives for a diverse organisation and in the delivery of briefings, training and communications to support implementation. You will have worked on staff engagement initiatives and will ideally have experience working with a range of organisational change initiatives.

You will be an excellent and influential communicator, able to work collaboratively and create opportunities to think creatively with others to deliver innovative solutions. You will also be confident in undertaking consultation activities with key stakeholders, pairing this with strong planning, organisational and digital skills, as well as the ability to collect, analyse and report on qualitative and quantitative data.

This role could provide a great career development opportunity for newly qualified professionals, or those currently undertaking a CIPD qualification.
