The opportunity
To equip students to become professional managers within industry, we rely on an outstanding academic team who are as imaginative, forward-thinking and visionary, as they are knowledgeable and informed; people with hands-on experience of their industry and a keen eye on the future. We are now looking to add this team by recruiting a part time Lecturer in Fashion Management. Your specialism may be in branding and communication, retail and marketing strategy development or consumer insight and research. You will sustain your own practice and research with the support of College and University research structures and participate in the School’s lively research culture.
About you
You will undertake teaching, unit management, curriculum development, student pastoral support and research in a relevant discipline of fashion management (e.g. strategic fashion management, fashion marketing management and consumer insights, retailing management, supply chain management, financial management etc.) across the Fashion Business School portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses
This key role calls more than just expertise; we expect you to inspire and excite our Fashion Management students, applying your research-led teaching you will inspire and engage with future managers across an array of roles so it is essential that you combine industry relevant fashion management experience with an academic background. A relevant postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
