The opportunity

As part of the academic team behind our BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles course, you will deliver seminars and workshops on drawing, the textile development, processes and realisation of contemporary fashion textile techniques and outcomes.

As well as teaching and supporting students, you will contribute to lesson planning, assessment and curriculum development. There will also be every opportunity to build on your profile and track record in your field through research or professional practice.  Your commitment to excellence in teaching, creativity, innovation and the student experience should equal your professional experience, fashion awareness and design/technical understanding for the subject area.

If you have any queries about this role, you may contact the LCF Staffing Team at vacancies@fashion.arts.ac.uk

About you

With a relevant degree (or equivalent), you will have what it takes to inspire and educate undergraduate students. You can lead on both traditional and more creative textile development and approaches for the course, drawing on in-depth subject expertise and understanding. What’s more, you are always up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry and keen to share your knowledge. If you are also organised and IT-literate, we could have the ideal home for your skills.
